I think the brand name stickers that people stick under the hood are tacky. The only decal I have is a Power Tour 2010 decal on the windshield.

I don't have it, but I want it! The best on I ever saw. It was on a Corevette on top of the windshield and had 'MOVE' printed in reverse, so when it came up on you from behind, you could read it in the rear view mirror!

I hate all stickers, inside or out. Our CO car club gives me a hard time cause I won't even sport a club sticker. I haven't seen a sticker yet that will improve the looks of the exterior of my car

True, but I have found that each sticker, inside or out, will significantly improve performance and gas mileage. Size is a direct indicator of how much improvement you'll see.

LMFAO!!!! And a drag race doesn't end until the civic behind me flys past in full vtech mode, while I'm braking to a stop.

I think with a comment like that I need to see the amount of "horsepower" you pushing under your hood there James!

No comment except to say that if you don't believe my theory, try this simple test and you'll quickly become a convert: Put stickers on your work bench and/or tool chest (either will work, but the tool chest seems to work best), and the speed of any repair you make will be cut in half or thereabouts, again, depending on the sticker size.

Re: Stickers on your third gen

I've got CAMARO across the windshield in thirdgen style lettering, a small club sticker on the base of the hatch window, and "brand" stickers in about .75" tall lettering running along the side of the hatch window. Thing is, since I work for a sign shop, I've made them all out of matte black. You can't see them unless you're closer than 10 feet away. .....not a show goes by where people don't comment on how much they like it! ....and I think it's because everyone loves stickers, but most would agree they just don't look right on a car. This is kinda the best of both.

Re: Stickers on your third gen

I have a vicious sticker I made for a skate teAm I used to skate for many moons ago. I get plenty of d bag responses. I also have the shadaloo emblem on the side of the hatch right above the wheel. My formula has to Vette red stripes on fender, that stands for my old 86 z rip, and my friends sti rip. I have all vicious decals on my ls1 z28, 88 iroc, 92 formula, and s10. I know your usually only allowed one decal but I have meaning behind them. I would like to put something else like f$ck turd gens or something like that, I bleed third gen thanks.

Re: Stickers on your third gen

I've never understood the putting of your vehicle's make or model across the front of your windshield, but I do admit to being amused by what Bombrcar said he saw on a Corvette: "MOVE" in reverse. I saw a pic of a car similar to that, it said (in reverse) "move over" and had an arrow pointing to the right side of the road (when viewed in your rear view mirror).

Other stickers that have made me laugh: an Energizer bunny sticker on a Prius, Calvin peeing on a Ford emblem, a breast cancer sticker that said "save the ta tas!", "if this sticker is blue, you're going too slow" (referring to the "red/blue shift" of light)... I can't remember the others right now, unfortunately. But I've seen some good ones.

None of my cars have stickers. But if I did put any on them, it would be a small simple text-only sticker that said the name of the car club I was a member of with that car. Preferably in black so it wouldn't stand out, and put onto a window towards the rear of the car. I like a clean look.

So do cat paw prints (adds torque) and tree pollen (adds top end HP). Pine needles increase top speed. But tree sap will cause handling problems, so don't get that on your car. Bug splatters on your bumper make it impervious to damage by flying rocks.

C'mon, be realistic: The paw print idea is just silly.

No stickers will ever be found on my car(s). Lets keep it to the paid professional drivers and r*cers to plaster their cars with them. Any one gets a chance look up Mike Merryfield on youtube. He does a skit called "stupid r*cers" and calls the stickers a "check list" for thieves so they know what their stealing. I couldnt agree more with him.

I just have a small club sticker on the lower left corner of my windshield. You guys might like the one I have on my tool box tho. It says "SPEED KILLS drive a honda and live forever" Best part is that I saw that same sticker on a civic at a car show last year lol

I don't really care for stickers on my car but placed this one on the rear hatch glass.
Its small and gold in color saying" Python Vehicle Security Systems". You can just barely see it in this photo.

Re: Stickers on your third gen

Thanx guys,
The T-ram on the red formula in the pic is on Firehawk number 13.
The garage is 32dx46wx12'6" h
The beer fridge has had its fair share of kegs run thru it! A relay just went down in the ole gal and not sure if we can get another.. :-(
I have installed a part from pretty much everyone of those stickers!
The sticker on the rear window was made years ago while a few friends were over and we designed it. The guy that did most of it was a Ford guy!

Oh yeah? Get your cat (or somebody else's) to walk across your hood with dusty paws. Your car will gain torque. Or maybe it only works for Japanese 4-cyl cars....

Re: Stickers on your third gen

When I first got my RS, it had a sticker for Flowmaster on the passenger window, and a sticker for some sorta security system on the other (which I don't think existed in this particular vehicle) and a ScotchGuard sticker. My friends got a kick out of the ScotchGuard one. After I had my accident, me and my friend were silently assessing the damage (in an "oh ****" manner) and the first thing he said was, "At least it's Scotchguarded."

Re: Stickers on your third gen

I've only applied one sticker a long time ago. It's a small "AC" sticker on my tach. Kind of like on a '69 Camaro.

I do have a red IROC-Z tape kind of sticker on the tint portion of the windshield. It was there when I bought the car. I often wondered in it was a factory thing.

If you put the stickers on your car, what will you stick onto your toolbox and workbench?

Re: Stickers on your third gen

I have an F-Body Gathering "G-15" parking sticker on the front bottom corner of my windshield. You cant see it unless you're standing up near the driver's side rearview mirror. I'll probably take it off soon.
