A lot of them drove there, However that's pretty much all those cars get driven...LOL. They get driven to the show, then back home.

This is one of the local "premier" shows here locally, a LOT of $$$$ in the show field.

Here in VA, you can register an old car like a third gen as an antique. Then, you don't have to go through the registration or smog checks, So if you want to run a crate motor with a Holley carb and headers you can. The trade off is you can't use it as a daily driver. You are only supposed to drive it on the weekend. I would suspect other states have similar programs.

I also think that all cars should be driven. I mean, if you have to take it by trailer to the show, what is the point?

Well that depends on the car, I agree that cars are meant to be driven, but some are to rare to risk that too. I have a freind that has a Pierce Arrow, you cannot even get parts for it any more you have to fabricate parts. I mean if you have a concours type vehicle than a trailer is the only way to go
