Looking for paint code

I'm getting ready to have my son's Camaro repainted while he is deployed over seas and need some help. Is there a paint code for the black in the headlight cut-outs and the lower grille inlet area or is black just black? Have the codes for his main exterior colors. The black looks to be a semi-gloss on the '82 we are waiting to restore, but it is really faded. Thanks for the help.

Check the inside of the doors on the ends I think it gives the paint codes there

Re: Looking for paint code

I believe they are urethane. Natural Urethane color. That is why they fade. Try mother's back to black (red bottle). Can be had at advanced auto, auto zone, wal mart ect. The buckets on both my 87 and 97 are rough but it helped a lot. They were never gloss finishes. I don't think there is a paint code for the headlight buckets.

Re: Looking for paint code

It looks 100% better with gloss, though, imo of course. If it's a restoration, go with satin for sure.
