Looks really nice, I could do without the rear way up in the air and the big sound system but overall im impressed.

Yep looks pretty good. That sounds system is overkill. He probably paid a crazy amount for that entire setup

The buy it now price is crack pipe.
Too many questions... Why is the back so high? How does the exhaust work (surely those aren't stock plastic gfx with hot pipes through 'em)? Why do A- work on the exterior, but D- work on the engine?
It's cool, but not for me.

Impressive? Yes. Too bad the next owner is going to spend a ton of cash taking the clown out of it.

Reverse hood? Nope, just on prop rods.
The better question is, why is the front scraping the ground.
I'm sure the exhaust looks awesome from the side, as it drags the ground.

Exhaust Schmost. Did anyone notice that he shaved ALL of the lines? The lines where the nose meets the fenders and such?
it looks cool, but that car will start to show cracks in the body work VERY quickly. Who ever plans on buying it should basically never drive it. Never let it get hot. Never let it get cold. Aka, never run it and keep it in a 100% climate controlled environment.

I did notice the speaker port cupholder and cheap-ss cavalier steering wheel. Had the same steering wheel in my p.o.s 84 to get rid of the even worse rectangle one.
You couldn't drive that in southern Indiana with the front dragging the ground like that anyways

is that a hole in the sideskirt, to imitate an exsaust cutout?, when the pipe is clearly hanging down lol, i say its nice looking but it does nothing for me, the money spent on paint, wheels and that stereo could of been spent under the hood,

I saw that car in Daytona last year at the rod run. I think they did a good job with the craftsmanship. I've seen worse cars praised on this site. Just like all true customs they are built for show not really to be driven. I think they chose the wrong type of car to customize. Btw, the hood had a real nice hinge setup on it when I saw it.

I am amazed at how clean shaving the nose to the fenders makes it look... totally impractical as others have said, but looks great.
Two things I would love to see more of...
- The cowl hood to the glass. Is this a custom molded jobby, or is there a hood company making them to the window I just didn't know about.
- The shaved firewall/hvac housing, YET still retained the a/c... is this a Vintage Air kit?
Stereo stuff is just asking for a busted window, but if they are not driving it due to the fear of bondo cracks lol, it looks like a cleaner job than I have seen in A LOT of other 3rd gens.

WOW. This was on Ebay when I bought the RS. His reserve must be pretty high, when I saw the ad back in March the top bid was over 7K. Ironicly if that was an original Z28 or Heritage RS in that nice of shape, it'd probably have fetched his asking or reserve price by now. Too much money into looks and not enough into vrooom IMHO.

That thing has been on Craigslist down here for over a year. I think the last ad I saw he wanted like $15,000.

Good looking car and 10 years ago I would have loved it, but now I'm not into all the shaved stuff and huge systems. I do like the paint and wheels. Like was said a stock one would sell better and $15k is going to be real hard to get.

The problem with this car is that it has the show car look. And if you have the show car look the whole car has to be showy. The next owner has over $10k of work to do to complete the look.
It needs:
Aftermarket brakes
Complete interior overhaul - really a cavalier steering wheel? and those awful looking seats
Complete engine bay overhaul
Exhaust overhaul and associated body work - you can see the exhaust hanging down, not good.

Re: Check this ebay Camaro: Reverse hood, side exhaust out gfx, molded frt rear bumpe
Not a bad car if you drop that rear end down, if you want a complete show car you need to pay at least twice that amount for a thirdgen. I like the concept he was going for, rip out that tower in the rear hatch add a pair of 10 or 12s and its not a bad car. I guess I just like cars, I like one offs and resto rods, don't get me wrong a clean 69 0r 70 Chevelle or GTO are right on top of my dream cars, but I love to see the one offs at shows.
