Gave buffing a try

I've seen some really nice results on here from buffing so i decided it was time for me to see what itd do to my camaro. Due to rain all i could get done was the top of the drivers door and then the hood of the car, but it also kind of allows you to compare to the rest of the car before it. I'll update some more pictures as i get more parts of the car done. Check it out and let me know what you guys think!

And then the door, this one was when the car was now stored in the garage away from rain:

Looks awesome! what buffer did you use? and did you use a large buffing shammy pad? What wax did you use? Or did you use a polish only? Sorry about all the questions, but getting ready to do the same. Just want to use the right stuff thats all.

Re: Gave buffing a try

IW-33 & BADNBLK: Thank you guys!

Camarosrock1989: I used an old buffer that they used to use in a body shop along time ago, i borrowed it from my uncle, it was a variable speed one though. For a pad i was using a foam pad but for some reason i wasnt seeing as good as results with it, so i switched to the wool and man it really made the car look nice! I used a meguiars rubbing compound and then polish, and then some old style stuff that my dad used to use on his buick it was like eagle one? or something like that.

However i would say to use some of the better products that others list as being good, i just used what i had. But i just used a buffer on all of it but the wax i wiped off.
