Quick question(I've searched). What color are the metal parts of the hood vents(92TA)

They look gold in there... Is that original?

My 88 has them painted over, but where the paint is flaking off they look aluminum from the top side.

I've seen some GTAs with gold, all others I've seen were black.
Hmmmmm, mine are aluminum... But have a gold tint, definitely not black...

Do you mind posting a pic. I've never seen gold one (at least not that I've noticed).

Just black. These cars are getting rare up here.
Best one I have right now. Shows how bad I need paint! BUT, when it is painted I want to make sure I finish the vents correctly!

mine are black, and where the paint is coming off, is silver beneath. if I was to redo them, I'd do it in silver, or gold, or something accenting.
OK, I will clean them and paint the oustide black and leave the vents silver(metal). Want it as original as possible in all ways....
