Removing Trapped Wax
I was just curious what methods everyone here uses to remove wax that becomes trapped in any type of fine lines, cracks, pinholes or crevices.
Is there a specific product/brush you can use for this?
Prime example I custom did my taillights with nightshades and clearcoat then repainted the grid. Some very fine cracks appeared in the black grid paint that really weren't noticeable unless you were specifically scanning for defects.
I did a final buff on the taillights then went over them with a green paste wax to really bring out the shine. Now every fine little crack/imperfection in the black grid stands out like a sore thumb because it has become filled with PUKE GREEN wax residue.

Re: Removing Trapped Wax
I have moved away from waxes that do not dry clear to cut that type of stuff down, but some of the polishes will still leave a residue. I use a Meguiars detailing brush that has various bristle thickness and length. I think I got that at the O'reillys or Autozone? I also try my best to not over apply a product to keep from having it build up in body lines or creases.
