The front parking lights. Do you like the amber look better or the clear look (white)?

Clear. In my opinion, it matches the headlights and fog lights (if equipped) better.

I have clear lenses with hyper-blue bulbs...I'm trying to find out how I can reverse the way they operate. i.e. full brightness when on and then dim when the turn signal is engaged. I'm open to ideas, it shouldn't be too hard. I'll do a search through the boards, its just this reminded me.

I hate to be a *****, but I have to say I bought the lenses from "some place" back when I lived in Baltimore. I will try and dig up the receipt when I get home. I'll do my best. As for the bulbs, you should be able to find those anywhere pretty much.

Also - how did that brake job turn out???

Really good, I just got done painting my calipers the other day. They look really sharp.

What do you mean lenses? What exactly did you do to your parking lights?

By "lense" I meant the whole front right and left parking light bulb housing-lense assembly. It is a bolt-on replacement. Its like two screws and the original comes off, put the new ones on and pop in your new bulbs and your're good to go!

My originals were already clear lense with amber bulbs. They were heavily pitted from 10+ years of rocks/bugs/road grit bouncing off them. As far as my choice in bulb color - all my interior gauges and radio are blue so it was a nice touch -in my case- to have matching bulbs. You are however, entitled to your opinions.

Didn't mean to jump on you like that, sorry.. its just been a long day. Blue bulbs aren't my thing for turn signals, but interior-wise can look pretty cool.

They aren't BLUE like blue blue they are more like a white with a blue light tent to them. Like the BMW head lights.

No offense taken, I know all about long days. Also, your new ride looks sweet. I'm still stuck with the TBI, it must be nice to have TPI under your hood. Good luck with your new car!

Got any pics of the blue interior lights? I was thinking about doing that, and adding blue underbody neons to go with the blue stripe along the bottom, but I might remove the stripe so I'll see.

And yeah, the 350 TPI sure is better than my old 305 TBI. I'm really happy with it. Sorry again if I seemed like an *** .
