me and my brother bought another 87 iroc the other day, and i was like "sweet its got polished iroc rims". thought nothing of it until later on when i looked real close, i relized they are adhered on like a sticker....the polish surface is only a sticker. but it looks so good that i never knew the differance for a while. question, where i can i buy these at??? ill try to get pics later on

please dont what? buy them? they look pretty good, and have less than 5% of the labor and maintenance than actual polishing. it just for one of the beaters i have

 

I'd like to see them. A neat idea I'm sure looks good from a far. Might looks better than some of half asssed polish jobs I have seen posted around here from time to time, or not LOL

 

Oh. I was saying dont use them. But if its for a beater, go for it. I'm guessing its something to just make your car a bit more presentable? Yeah I understand

i know right. i didnt even wash it. heck we havent even plated it yet. just jumped on a deal and parked it in line with the rest of them until we get around to it. but it fooled me lol

 

I was skeptical at first.. Kind of reminded me of those Ebay decals that go in place of the hood blisters. Cheap.

This proved me wrong, actually looks pretty decent if the rest of the wheel was cleaned up. I wouldn't put it on my car, but i've definitely flipped cars in the past where this could have been handy.

 

I'll give you it's far better looking than I would have thought, but it loses it's novelty quick. Like, as soon you realize the reflection is glued on. What does the curved center section and lip look like? Do those have strips on them too?

 

Not my cup of tea..but hey if you like it thats what matters!

 

im not the one who installed them, let alone know about them until i investigated them a little lol. so its not what "i like" its more like what i just discovered, and realized as corny as it seems...it would have fooled you unless someone said they were stick on. now back to the original question, does anyone know where to get them??? or do i have one offs lol
