Wow!!!! Completely overwhelmed right now by all of the positive words that have been said in this thread about my car. Thank you to each and everyone of you who have and are voting for me. It is a priviledge to be amongst some of the most well put together 3rd gens on this site. As my car still needs lots of attention (paint and interior), I am truly grateful for making it this far. Here is a few other photos.

I cant stand the way my garage looked at the time of this picture.. but i love how my car smiled for the camera

I voted for your car John. I didn't know you put a chambered exhaust on your car. Very cool. I might have to put one on mine. Do you have a video on the sound of it?

There are some beautiful cars in the running this month. Wish y'all could win!
Re: Feburary COTM **VOTING**
I couldnt find this stuff on my pc the other day when I posted the pictures. So if you are on the fence and havent voted yet, here is some pictures of the MSE#55 RACE CAR, and if you have already voted, its some history you will enjoy. Thanks again for the nomination and votes!!
race car #55 back in 1982??

race car#55-very recent picture the owner sent me

Heres a youtube video of the actual race. Starts at approx 1:25
For 30 yrs ago, the technology was pretty amazing. The suspension mods on the cars along with the aero tail wing allowed them to really take the corners hard.
Heres a picture of my car right after purchase. It looks pretty good, but up close the paint wasnt that great. White is a real hard color to present in photos. It has lots of depth now and shine!

Wow the firebirds are running away with it! Copchaser got my vote though the stance on that car might be the best I've ever seen on here.

Re: Feburary COTM **VOTING**
As mentioned above, I love the stance of Copchaser's car, and those are quite possibly my favorite rims. Seen them once on a 4th gen WS6 out at the track, and I actually tracked down the guy to ask what they were
The two tone paint adds a lot of character to the car. Had my vote from the day the poll opened up, but figured I'd throw my opinion out there
I do love the originality and attention to detail Kymmee's car has though, just throwing that out there.
Good luck to both, it's an even tie!

Honestly tho, I hadn't even noticed the missing paint lol. The rims, brake & color combo blew me away. I'd actually seen the car in another thread a few wks ago & fell in love with it's stance.
Good work Copchaser. Keep it going!

I want to see a poll (all in good fun, no hard feelings at all) to see how many of the COTM's have been California cars. It seems a good number of them have been, must be because it has the most dense population of thirdgens.

Re: Feburary COTM **VOTING**
Blue I will say this you and your dad have 2 of the most amazing cars. the paint on your dads is awsome and all the new parts put into it just amazing. yours with the custom rear spoiler. there just amazing cars.
But on this board there are alot of amazing thirdgen's. the northerner cars only get a few months of photo time. salt you know.
down here in the south well it seems there are more honda's and inport tuners. thirdgens get teh love but not like in other area's hence the reason i have 2 and your motor swap cost's more than i paid for both. not what i put into them but what i paid for them . and liek you said the west not just Cali but the warm west. no salt, warm most of the time. more time for photo shoots. cars stay cleaner and nicer. like with buying a house Location location location LOL

Re: Feburary COTM **VOTING**
I like copchaser's car best just becuase I dig his sense of style. Perfect paint doesnt matter all that much to me, but a lot of you guys come from a car show background where thats a big deal. All the cars are very nice, some have absolutely fantastic paint on them, but I just dont like the style and "fashion decisions" of them as much. None are bad, they are all beautiful cars, just copchaser's car's style is the one that clicks with me the best.
That mecham trans am is pretty neat too, I especially love how even though it's a "modified" car, the owner left it as it was when it was made. Thats important for those more historical models, but it does make it tough to compete with lowered cars with 17-18 inch wheels, etc. Kind of a hard place to be in, since it doesnt fit in the "Stock" category but the "modified" category has cars with 30 years more modern upgrades on them. (Not that that makes them better necessarily...)

Thanks man! I truly do appreciate your honesty from earlier... Makes things like this and the topics we discuss more interesting. A different point of view never hurts.

Hey John, your car has some awesome wheels and perfect stance. There are so many cool cars here and as far as I'm concerned every ones cars are winners.
Re: Feburary COTM **VOTING**
Congrats Copchaser on the COTM win!! We went head to head until the very end. There can only be one 1st place, but as said before all the cars are winners! It has been very rewarding to represent the third gen community here with this contest and I really do appreciate all the votes and positive comments I received.
