I saw A lower rider firebird in my friend’s magazine. I had airbrush paint under the wheels a whole lot of gold and krap. The thing looked like a train wreck! I see if I can get the pic tomorrow.

I hate lowriders even more than I hate rice. I can't stand it. Let's take a high performance sports car, gold-plate the rotors and put in a crushed velvet interior to compliment the 10 pumps and 16 switches.

Ricers are idiots, but lowriders go totally out of their way to completely destroy a functional vehicle.

I cringe when I think about how many old impalas were ruined by lowriders.

Yeah, actually back in the day I used to read Lowrider magazine (like when i was 13-14) And honestly, I think the rice crap had a lot of help from the Lowrider scene. I stopped reading the magazines when the "Euro" thing became popular. And they had all the great stuff back then they have now, huge wings, the "wide" look where they put extend their axles or whatever so the tires are sticking out in the other lane.. etc..

The only "Lowriders" I like are like a lowered older car with some nice wheels. Hyrdaulics are just silly.

Yeah, Ive got a good idea, let take this nice car, and bouce it off the pavement a whole bunch!

Why?!? I mean, for *** 's sake.... why?

The sparkly things in the paint, the golden golf cart wheels, the chrome above the wheel well. What did they do to the owners to deserve such treatment?

Poor cars must cringe in embarrassment when they drive past other thirdgens.

Oh man, that is just wrong. I'm going to agree and say I hate them more than ricers. A LOT more than ricers. I must admit, some ricers look halfway decent. These look TERRIBLE. I'm speechless.

Lowering a car is not tuning it into a "lowrider".
I have an '81 Elcamino that is slammed on the ground, but it also has about $2000 dollars worth of suspension work. It's built for road racing. I don't have the usual Irocs, or for that matter daytons on it.
Also, lowriders go out of their way to make a car look stupid. The worse the car looks, the better.

Why lower them, i barely clear speedbumps as it is. Our cars are planty low enough. And the little wheels that stick out are sickening. -=*barf*=- I might get lowering springs myself but not go all that far. With our torque small tires wont last.

I think it's whatever floats your boat but I don't like them either. It just makes no sense in lowering a car(improperly) to the point you have to install hydralics just to drive it down the street. Driving around a corner on 3wheels looks alittle unsafe and really retarded. Blaze of Glory sorry about the Dumbasses around here.

The guy says he is mexican then says FU, and the other guy calls me a dumb@***, lol, I said "damn mexican low riders", I didn't say mexicans in general, jeez you mexicans are so sensitive.

I live in Canada and there isn't much of a Mexican population up here. And I'm not a racist, so don't go off the deep end.

I think, from what I've seen, that lowrider style cars seem to appeal to Latino people, for reasons probably genetic. Just like black people seem to like very colourful clothes, or white people gray suits (that gets monotonous), or east Indian people romantic movies with lots of dancing.

These things just appeal to them for reasons that are all their own. One is not right or wrong to enjoy them. There is no right or wrong when it comes to tastes in these areas.

That said, I'm a white guy and I don't find bouncing cars appealing at all. But to each their own.

If all of you brainaics hate low riders, then why do you drop your cars by an inch or get drop springs?

Just a thought.

when will yall get it right?! Lowrider is a style of car just like ***** is, simply lowering a car an inch or 2 does NOT MAKE IT A LOWRIDER! GOLD 13" WIRE WHEELS, CRUSH VELVET INTERIOR, D*MN*$$ HYDRAULICS, AND AIRBRUSH PAINT MAKE A LOWRIDER. It is stupid remarks like that that keep me from coming back to this board.

As Texas said, dropping a car 2" isn't a low rider it's just lowered. This is what a lowrider is"GOLD 13" WIRE WHEELS, CRUSH VELVET INTERIOR, D*MN*$$ HYDRAULICS, AND AIRBRUSH PAINT MAKE A LOWRIDER."

Tell me what u Think?

This is my 86 berlinetta camaro...would like to buy a newer 90-92 iroc/rs (not in my budget right now). This has a V6 - it's got no guts...no need to make any performance mods, interior was shot...velvet is easier to install than tweed, car looked to plain without some chrome...no hydraulics...stock suspension...photoshopd drop.

There is a difference between a lowered car, and a lowrider. They even have a special magazine for those called........Lowrider!! My opinion is lowered cars look good when done with taste. A lowered 3gen with 14" Daytons, or hydraulics, or any combination of the 2, in my opinion is not done in taste. I do not like those, and I don't mind telling the owners I don't like them, but I am not going to come down on them because they did it. I'm not going to tell them they are idiots because they did. Maybe to them, my stock height Camaro is ugly, its not in their taste, but I wouldn't want them to tell me how stupid I am for leaving it stock. To each his own. Everyone has a different opinion, if we didn't, this world would be a boring place to live. I think we need understand better that what I like my just be what you don't like. And that is okay.

It's the same people that don't know the difference between a body kit and a kit car. I think it's the similar words that throws off their focus due to low intellect.

that car is bad ace! my only question about cars that lowered is that how much accessibility they have to parking lots when their rides are that low. I mean, my car scrapes all the time, and i do one wheel at a time at stock hieght. Soon i will lower it, but that firebird has a heck of a drop, its probably got two inches of clearance.

Last night my friends and I saw a lowrider firebird try to take on a second gen firebird(looked like bandit's car only white). The guy in the 2nd gen wouldn't even acknowledge him.
