Just out of curiosity who on TGO has the least miles and who has the most?

 

35,352 miles on mine .

 

I know a guy that used to sell 3rd gen parts locally. He collected all the GM turbo cars, and has a TTA with 47 miles.

I doubt he gets on here.

Damn, I would kill for that '85. I just bought a Formula with 18,000 but it's up to 20,000 already. My Camaro's got 46,000 I believe.

 

Now the question is who has the most?

 

I have 163k on my bird but in the thirdgen facebook group there is a guy with 230k on his rs.

 

Probably not the most, but I have 194k on my '92 GTA.

 

I saw a C 4 C car...a 91-92 RS camro, lg4/lo3?, intact, brand new tires NO rust.

I got the areo chin off it, then the next day the whole nose. $25 total.
Sold the chin for nearly $200 and the nose sold for $80.
Yes it had the areo ground effects but the yard put rim under then to holdd the car up.....(PISSED...)

The 88 has either 97 or 197K (stupid 5-digit odometer, if that was even the cluster the car came from the factory with ).

I think LeonardS is probably the guy on here with the lowest miles. It's kind of mandatory for him to keep it in a garage and not drive it except to the occasional show. He DOES have the LAST 3rd gen produced...

 

We've lost track of the 5 mile '85 IROC-Z. It was sold by the owner a couple years back. So, with that, we can't say that the '85 is the lowest mile car on these boards as the new owner is not a member (that we know of).

If no current member speaks up with less, LeonardS may have the lowest miles at 125 on the last 1992 Camaro produced.

92 Bird has 170k and counting

 

Do you consider 80k mile car a high or low mileage car?

 

Formula has 123k

 

If its 20 years old, I'd call it low milage.

 

one of my 92's has 196,xxx and my brothers 90 has 218,xxx and both cars are 3.1 v6. my 85 digi berli has 42,xxx

 

102,000 (11,000) on rebuilt engine !!!

 

I think I'm sitting at a hair under 240k on the chassis.

 

I just rolled 240,000 miles in my 87 Sport coupe. Car is bone stock with the LG4.

 

My 3.1 has 193,xxx

 

I don't understand why so many are posting their "high miles" when a prior post is advertising higher mileage than their car has. It will make it hard to determine the highest miles if you have to sift through hundreds of posts.

 

I just bought an 89 rs with 95,xxx

 

91' WS6 Daily Driver still crusin' with 146,000. Bone stock 305/TBI.

She's not the most comfortable ride I've owned but probably the most reliable.

I wish i could find out how many Heritage RS convertibles were made the last 5 working days before the last 3rd gen. rolled off the line.

I also wish it was'nt 27 degrees outside and snowing ***** , so that i could put a few miles on my RS tonite.

Does anyone have the magazine (I believe it was HOT ROD) that featured the bone stock, almost mint '84 Trans Am with over 300k on it? Saw it on the news stand a couple years back and wanted to buy it but I didn't have any cash on me and I forgot.

A coworker of mine claims to have over 400k on his old 305 RS Camaro with the OG 305 and 700r4. Apparently it's sitting at his parents' house a few towns over so I've never seen it but he's usually pretty honest so I don't have much doubt.

59,000 on my '83. Averages out to around 1900/year. Not bad.

 

My 91 Formula has 239xxx on the odometer but it stopped working almost 2 years ago, so im probably close to 250000 lol, car still runs great

 

I gave my brother my 89 comaro because it had 391,621 miles on it. I thought it was about done. Seven years later he is still driving it and it is still going. Yes it is still all original with no rebuild.

I've got 47,500 on my 1988 Trams Am. Put 12,000 miles on it the first summer I had it, but slowed down a lot after that. There have been a few times were it sat in storage for several years at a time without getting it out at all.

I didn't originally plan to keep it forever and maintain low miles, but I'm glad it's worked out that way.

I hope to get it out again for this summer season in May.

 

And yet they continue to post!
