The two pics that Tim posted for me are very old. It hasnt even been lowered yet and i still have the RS tail lights in those two pics, and i still have a front yard . I will try to take some better angles of the hood, but my USB port isnt functioning right now and i cant get pics off of my camera.

There is no comparison to a nice Cowl induction hood. An SS hood comes in a close 2nd, but they just get worse from there. Just my opinion...don't anyone get mad!!

Yes, When you order an SS hood they'll want to know whether it's a TPI or carb/TBI.

I have the 4" Cowl from Harwood. I think it looks good, but the quality sucks. I spent hours adjusting it, and when I had the body restored and painted, I had them try to adjust it. The front is cut wrong, from the center to drivers side its cut too high and from the center to passanger side its just cut down. You can kinda tell it from this picture. The sides are also off a bit.

I see what you mean traxxton, the front of it doesn't roll off as much as it should. Nevertheless!, it still looks great and most untrained eyes on the street (the women you're after) will never know.

Sorry I missed your post 1989camarorsrs. On the ram effect you have asked a question I would also like to know as I would like to buy one myself but need to consider a future motor change. The best way to find out is to call them, I just haven't had the time lately but if you do, how about postin' here so we'll all know.

Here's my Harwood 3 inch cowl hood that i obviously haven't painted yet. Mine fits good. Traxxxton you need to trim off that front edge in order for it to lay down flush against the front end. Also you have to trim the sides where the rubber bumpers are. That should make it fit better.
