Before and after Buff n Wax 14hrs of detailing.

When I bought this car the dirt picture is the original from the PO. I bought her for $800. Ran like crap and looked like crap. However I witnessed the potential, unlike many other people. Luckily I bought it from a friend who well, just is not a car guy. GM is in my family's blood Its our creed to restore anything that falls in our path. So here are the before and after pics 1985 Black Firebird Base Model.

Tune up, oil change, and 14 hours of buffing waxing and interior detailing. Took everything apart and cleaned it center console, to the glue stuck to the back window im not sure what from (took me 2 hours of spraying 409 and scraping with a plastic card to get the back window right) took the shabby door guards off, cleaned the wheels and now she is sitting pretty. PO told me it hadnt been cleaned in 5 years. would you buy her for $800??

the only shabby part is someone else painted part of the car some is original some is half A**. The clear is good on the bad parts though. However, whoever put the pillar decals on used super glue :O retards. So there is no way to get that off without sanding on the paint. I plan on just putting original decals over the top instead.

Maybe soak it in acetone, (nail polish remover), that will break down the super glue.

It would also eat away at the clear/paint aswell. Trust me on this, my dad is visually impared and grabbed the wrong can at the wrong time.

Good job man-looks 100 times better. If think if it's solid then 800 was a score.

It runs like a dream. Smooth shifting, PO thought the tranny was going out. I took a look and a smell of the fluid super clean no candle wax burnt smell. Super clean and full of fluid. The IAC valve was dirty which i just cleaned this morning and fixed the shift response. 800 bahahahaha
