My 89 IROC build (pic heavy)
This is my 89 Iroc-z I've been building for 6 years and have had a lot of help on this forum so I thought I'd finally share the results for you guys. If you have any questions feel free to ask, and your comments are welcome good or bad. Thinking about getting new wheels would like some suggestions thanks!
Paint: GM victory red, SS stripes black w/ red pearl
Engine: 355 SBC, vortec heads, LT4 hot cam
Trans: 700r4 w/ edge 3200 stall
Rear: BW 9-bolt 3.73
Suspension: Spohn TA, PH, LCA, LCARBS, Jegs SFC
Wheels: Weld Draglites
Tires: BFG Radial T/A's

Thanks man I ain't crazy bout the wheels I wish they were pro stars. I'm gonna try putting the white letters out maybe that will make them look better. Looking hard at a set of z06 wheels tho

Please stay away from Welds. I'm so sick of seeing drag style wheels on thirdgens and fox bodies. Nice car though. I like the deep dish C5 wheels. Not many running those.

I didn't want to mess with buying chips and burning proms and software and stuff I didn't care to learn I know a holley inside and out could never get near the power when I had the fuel injection on

The guy I bought the car had the fuel injection I bought it with a rod knock which actually turned out to be a missing cam hold down plate!
