Was just curious, but has anybody put something in the window of the third brake light like a Firebird symol cutout. So when you hit the brakes, it'll light up as a bird instead a large square.

I'm curious to see if it looks good if anyone has done it.

Thoughts?

That'd be great. Thanks! I saw some of the Camaro pictures with lettering but that wasn't really giving me a good idea. I think a simple bird covering most of it would look real good with the brakes lit up. It would be very unique.

 

Ill work on it tomorrow, I noticed today watching my drag race video that my third brake light isn't working. Since I have to fix it anyway (hoping its a bulb) Ill take measurements and cut some vinyl tomorrow.

Hey SeanPhelps321 - Here is my layout for the third brake light. I am doing mine on the outside of the window. My third brake light isn't working so I just have a picture of the sticker, not installed. I have to reassemble the third brake light after epoxy dries, the plastic piece that holds the bulb is all busted up. But here is my design.. The car is burgundy, so I did the sticker in burgundy.

 

So here is a final picture. Maybe burgundy wasn't the best choice on a red tail light, and it will probally look better at night from a distance. Should have probally done it in silver or black but I wanted to match the car color. Oh well, I got plenty of vinyl if I want to redo it.

Absolutely, this vinyl is made for automotive use, it has 7 year outdoor durability. It will handle pressure washers and anything you can throw at it for 7 years easily.

Here it is at night. It looks MUCH better at night. I wish the phone camera didn't pick up so much glare, the glare doesn't do it justice.
