I was just over at the Phoenix Graphics website and I was wondering if it would considered appropriate to get the Trans Am detailing package (for '84) and put most of the decals on a base line Firebird and add T/A GFX? I really like the Gold trim package [that would go on my black car] and figured it might be acceptable as long as I left off the "Trans Am" and "5.0 Liter HO" decals.

Opinions?

Keep in mind anything I suggest is reserved for at least 6 months down the road

Do what you want to the car. Emblems & stickers don't mean squat. I had GTA emblems on my formula that I added GFX & GTA wheels to. The only thing that made it not a GTA was the VIN #,,, oh damm,, like the average Joe would know any different. Go for it.

I personally do whatever the hell I want to my car, this is more of a poll for the people who would know the difference.

Ever heard of a Honda Civic Wagon in drag racing trim? I was very close to painting it black and slapping on a turbo... Then the damned thing blew a cylinder. LOL What a POS only lasted me to 213k.
