B4C...what motor???

I ran across a 1992 Camaro RS that the guy claims to be a B4C car. It has 4 wheel disk brakes, 1LE sway bars, and a TPI motor with a 5-speed, and a 145mph speedo. What motor does this car have? I know that you could not get a 350 with a 5-speed, but I was wondering if this would be an exception? It also has fresh blue paint and pretty fair interior. It has somewhere around 130,000 miles on it. How much would someone pay for it? I found a guy that wants to buy my car, but he wants to trade this car and some cash for mine.

Rule of Thumb is, anything with the 5speed is a 305 from the factory.

Unless of course, he changed it for a 350.

Believe me...if I were going to have a 3rd gen, I would keep mine. I am getting in the $8000 range for mine, but I wanted to know if I traded this guy, how much to give him for his car. I would just turn around and sell his car anyways. In the end, I will have nothing.

No, I saw this locally. The guy that is buying my car has this car and wanted to trade me his car plus cash for mine. He is now trying to sell his. He paid me 1/2 tonight and I get the other 1/2 in 3 days when he gets the funds transferred, so it is sold now. He wants a buyer for his...anyone interested?

B4c Camaros usually have really tall gears; like 2.53:1. Test drive it. Is is slow off the line?

I love the B4C but I thought they were based on the RS? Wouldn't it have a TBI 305 then? Oh well, with no govenor and tall gears, those fly on the highway!!! (Would be a good comutor car)

My brother has a '92 B4C, 230hp 305/5 speed. His has 3:42 gears (or 3:45, I can't remember). It is most definitely a TPI car! B4C cars were the only way to get TPI in a Camaro outside of a Z28/IROC-Z.

His car also has over 100K miles, but you can't tell from the way it runs....it's the strongest running 305 I've ever driven. A far, far cry from my old LG4!
