March 2015 COTM **WINNER**
Ladies and gentlemen. I present to you your March 2015 Car of the Month.

Congratulations, Kymee!!!
My God, what a race. Super tight between ALL the nominees (just look at the numbers). But then, right at the end, Kymee's Turbo spooled up, giving her impressive car a decisive finish.
King of the Road, baby! A TTA is always gonna be tough to beat, but the other four nominees were also very impressive bringing some super clean special edition cars to the party - so hats off to KMK454, FEENING4A92, Joel, and The_Wraith. Being nominated shows that your 3rd Gen stands tall among other Third Gens. There are no losers here. Winning is just icing on the cake.

The first time I saw one of these cars was in 2009 in Las Vegas at the Imperial Palace. I knew then that I wanted one. So I spent the next year or so looking at different ones, and learning everything I could about them.
I bought TTA#1515 in August 2010 in Columbus, Ohio. The car had 52k, and had been repainted because it originally was out of Texas and the PO told me the paint wasn't the greatest. It also had the front seats recovered, but not the rears.
I am really particular about detail, so I have done a lot of things to the car to make it nicer. For the interior, I have replaced the rear seat material with Hawks Katzskin, bought a recovered steering wheel, brand new OEM shift ****, and a dash pad cover.
In 2013, I had the engine bay painted, to spruce it up. I have also done a lot of engine detailing: new wire loom on a lot of the wires, new coolant tank heat sheild, and a "Turbo" hood insulator.
The lastest improvement I have done is refinishing the wheels. I worked on this late 2013-early 2014. I stripped the clear and wet sanded the aluminum. I had my painter redo the gold. I refinished 6 rims (4 fronts and 2 rears), as my plan was to run 4 fronts on the car. I did a complete set though, in case I didnt like the look. Anyway it worked out and I am running 4 fronts with Firestone Indy Wide Ovals 245/50/16's.
my engine is stock appearing, but has a few mods. I have 42lb injectors, a ta-49 turbo, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, non stock chip, scanmaster, and a boost guage on the pillar.

Congratualtions! Amazing car! Seen one at the Cedar Falls Raceway once. Very cool!
Could somebody tell me, is it white and gold or blue and black? haha Just kidding.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments and votes. A special to THANK YOU to Bob88GTA and 8289ta for the nomination, getting the word out and the gender correction. All the cars were extremely nice. So nice that I didn't even cast a vote because I liked something about each one.
I am very honored to win COTM and represent TGO and the TTA. I have been on this board since 2009 and AFAIK am the first female to win COTM. Can someone confirm that?
But at the end of the day, I am just a regular car enthusiast like the rest of you. I pretty much eat, sleep and breathe third gens.
This is the first time I have shared this photo publicly. It is the day I took ownership of the car. Now THAT was a great day!
