Cut brake dust on polished aluminum rims

I have a set of polished aluminum American Racing Torq Thrust II's on my 91 Camaro. The rims in the rear are as clean as the day I got them but the fronts have brake dust build up. Ive tried mothers aluminum wheel polish, Eagle one aluminum rim cleaner, and nevr-dull but nothing seems to cut it. Any suggestions?

Re: Cut brake dust on polished aluminum rims

Are you scrubbing the wheels after applying the wheel cleaner? The way I get hard brake dust off is to spray the cleaner on the bottom of the wheel and scrub after a few min. After that roll the car forward and clean that bottom. Having the cleaner soak on the bottom part of a wheel works the best.
