What I'm most proud of is that I'm the only owner, and ALL those miles have been pleasurable!
2 from '89 in Santa Barbara:
And 2 recent after 26 years and 220,000 miles:
And it's better and more inviting to drive than the day I drove it off the lot:

Re: Car of the Month Bait Thread
Wow, a lot of nice cars, would be an honor to just be in a running of all these machines! Here's my car, its been along a pretty wild voyage. I bought from original owner in 2005 w/21k on it, bone stock. Added little bolt-ons here and there, eventually a mini-ram, aluminum heads and cam. Ran at best 13.1 at around 104.
Eventually, the 350 hydro-locked so I HAD to swap to something bigger. Got the 406 now, by accident I had it switched to carburetor (not a terrible thing) and then added the 4" exhaust, runs 11.99 @ 117. I've got plenty more ideas for her but of course they won't all happen overnight. Well, anyway here are a few of my car....

Here is my 85 iroc. It was my moms cars handed down to my brother.. My brother had run the car into the ground before his passing. I took ownership and did a full rebuild all in house. It is a mix now of 85/92 parts. It has a built 355/t56/dana rear.

Re: Car of the Month Bait Thread
I guess I will add my car in. Here is a little background:
I've had the car since I was 16, I am now 18. I bought the car in fair condition, usually clear coat failure, torn driver seat bolster, and the other typical thirdgen problems. Since I bought it, the car has recieved a full repaint, and is now going through some upgrades. Doing a turbo 3.1l w/ a built 700r4 thanks to @fasteddi. The brakes, rear end and suspension will also be upgraded before I put the car on the road again. I wanted the car to stand out, and I think it does just that. Thanks for looking!

Re: Car of the Month Bait Thread
I'd like to re-enter mine. I was nominated for December, but never got a chance to give a good reason to why I should win because I didn't know I was nominated. I had a serious family emergency come up, and being the holiday season that didn't help either so I was away from the website for a while. Here is my 1992 Z/28 Z03 Anniversary Edition.

Re: Car of the Month Bait Thread
Thanks for the info on this thread. What an amazing collection of F-Bodys. Too bad there aren't car shows with JUST F-Bodys in different parts of the country. I go to a LOT of shows (in my area) and sometimes I'am the ONLY 3rd Gen in the show OR 20 Camaros to 1 Firebird. Hope you enjoy my photos as much as I liked taking them. Wish I could enlarge the pictures (computer problems) but if you double click them, they blow up nicely. There is a really detailed 6 page article in the October, 2012 issue of HPP, which by the way, was the last PRINTED High Performance Pontiac issue. You have to go online now to find it, but that sucks, because you can't take your computer to car show.

Re: Car of the Month Bait Thread
THANKS VERY MUCH. My knowledge with computers barely goes beyond knowing how to turn it on! ED
Now you can see the 350 Leds in the third brake light. Also thought the GTA tail lamps looked on the money, since they were a 2 year design only in 1991-92. The Trans Am Black Diamond Spoke wheels were a NO COST Option for 1991-92. I added the chrome center cap and lug nut covers.

The following should probably be nominated for this month's COTM ('91-'92 Firebirds) today.

Re: Car of the Month Bait Thread
I'm new here, but just so psyched to get my hands on another third gen!
I had an 85 Z28 TPI,
Then, my beloved 87 305 TPI 5-speed with 4 wheel disc and 3:42 out back R.I.P.
And finally back in the game with an 88 convertible all original, bone stock.
31,000 original miles, very near mint. Original paint, original top.
I'm scared to even touch up the car being all original.
Found the last owner who had the car since 2003 and said as far as he knew from himself and the previous owner the car never saw snow or rain. It was a weekend cruiser.
Love checking out everyone's rides on here!

Hahah, a nomination would be great! My car is no where near the caliber of winners though. Plus, it's a week or so out from being complete.
