decent car cover?

I can't get enough room in my garage right now to get my car in, and her paint job is really starting to pay the price...

Can anyone recommend a decent car cover that's not too expensive?

Thanks-

Re: decent car cover?

I had this problem for a while as well when I first got it. Car was stuck outside waiting on my garage. my t-top weatherstripping was sub-par and leaked like crazy so I cut a piece of heavy plastic. Enough to cover the entire windshield, t-tops, side windows, and hatch and placed it carefully in place. I used clear silicone on the plastic and placed a breathable car cover (all of them are breathable) on top of it. Wallaaa...water-proofed the t-tops and protected the paint on the rest. The silicone just glues your plastic to the car cover so that it stays in the same place when you remove it and put it back on etc...

Re: decent car cover?

I should also say, have at LEAST two people put the car cover on while the plastic is sitting there with beads of wet silicone....and make sure its not a windy day! otherwise you are going to have one heck of a mess! lol
