Hey everyone. Here is a pic of someone's car in my car club in South Florida... I was considering this hood when I pick up my GTA, and honestly im not to thrilled with the Ram Air II hood. Any honest opinions would be appreciated. The GTA im taking posession of in April is a Black L98 w/ TTops. Thanks.

The car is awesome, gotta love black. As for the hood, I like the bigger one better. That hood is too small. The one 86FyrBrd has is much better, in my opinion.
I don't care for the hood at all, it totally screws the way the car is supposed to look....
Why can't you guys just gut out the inside of the hood behind the factory grill and make that into a ram-air type intake, isn't that possible? The grill is right perfectly in front of the intake. Then it would look stock on the outside.....

Looks fine to me, but I think the wheels would look good black with a polished lip, or some newer trans am wheels (karps TA)..
other than that nice car

Of course, ive already killed 3 fbodies of my own by 'playing' with them (84 brown and gold T/A engine fire, 87 maroone T/A threw a rod, 96 white WS6 Formula killed gearbox and rearend in one day, 85 black T/A was stolen), so i may just keep the GTA stock with upgraded exhaust and suspension.
Like I said, I have til April until I take posession of F Body #5, so i still have alot of time to play with the ideas. If i finally give up on the whole speed thing, I may just make it into one bad *** cruising car. Never had one of them. I like this guy's car, but in all honesty im looking forward to the L98, considering all my 3rd gens were 305's.
