Re: BADNBLK in Chevy High Performance Magazine
Thank you guys. Its a bucket list item for me for sure. I've loved this car before I even owned it, and I'm so happy with all the positive "press" it has received since it's drive train upgrade/facelift.
I had a busy weekend, and didn't get a chance to respond to each comment as they came in, so THANK YOU!!!
YES the print magazine should hit stands on March 23rd or 24th as the June 2017 issue, so please go out there and buy one. The better the sales for the magazines featuring "home-grown" thirdgens, could improve the chances for the next guy. It is all marketing and sales for them.
As for values... The more people see them and spark a desire to own/build one it will trickle across the generation. I got a pretty incredible offer on mine in the last couple days from a guy in UAE, but I have a hard time knowing if he is serious, but honestly it doesn't matter I can't sell it to him...

You put a lot of time in that car and it shows. Thumbs up for representing!

Re: BADNBLK in Chevy High Performance Magazine
dude. I saw your car in my email subscription mail recently and said "heck yea!!!"
great feature they did on it; I saved every one of the photos and added them to my "screensaver" photo file folder of millions of car photos.
you are big time with a feature like that.

Re: BADNBLK in Chevy High Performance Magazine *and now Working with Detroit Speed*
I have been saying for a little while now, that I had some really cool news to share.... well here it is:

Detroit Speed and JRI Shocks and Chevy High Performance Magazine have teamed up to take BADNBLK to the next level of performance, in a 3 part magazine tech article to install DSE's Speed 3 front end kit, and their Speed 2 rear suspension package!!!! That is correct I'm rocking a full DSE suspension package including custom valved double adjustable JRI shocks with billet housings... YUMMY!
DSE won't be able to run their own 3rd gen in any West Coast events this season, so I will be holding the reins, and flying the DSE flag during LS Fest West, Optima Ultimate Street Car series @ PPIR, and Goodguys Autocross @ Colorado Nationals.
Its a huge honor to be involved, and even more so to write a tech article for a magazine I have respected for many years.
If you got questions about the DSE parts I might just have the info you need as I just mounted it all up

This makes me want to tear down my power train and suspension, find a cleaner chassis and start over.

Re: BADNBLK in Chevy High Performance Magazine *and now working with Detroit Speed*
Very excited! Like big life event type stuff here lol. The front end responsiveness is much improved. The car still stays very flat in hard turns, but with much better front tire grip than before. To oversteer is requires further throttle input than before indicating that the grip has increased as well. I'm hoping I can hit a local event before LS fest and make sure all my settings are working the way that I want, but so far I'm really happy with the way the car is working.

Badnblk,
Very jealous, those JRi's are made of unobtainium! Will make a huge difference - they are that good.
Congrats on the prime sponsorship!

They are incredible for sure. I never would have been able to afford them without the help of the great people at DSE, and JRi. Can't wait to get them on track.
