Different spoilers on 91/92 birds
The spoiler on my 1991 GTA is cracked. I'm thinking of using the spoiler off of a 1987-90 GTA on my car. Does anyone have pics of one installed on a 91 or 92 car with ground effects?
Also, does anyone have pics of a duck-tail spoiler, the small spoiler from a 1988 camaro sport coupe, or the spoiler in the attachment on a 91/92 bird with ground effects?
Speaking of the attachment, what body kit is that, and is it still available for sale? (Don't flame, I'm only interested in the spoiler.)

Search for the 200mph "Trans Am"... Not really a T/A from the looks of things, but its a late Firebird with gfx and the earlier wrap spoiler.

Great looking car and with that spoiler is magic. What did the spoiler come from?

Charcoalbird...it's good to hear from you, Jim! The bird is looking sweet. She's come a long way! Mine is under the knife right now, getting a bunch of maintenance and upgrades to the lower half of the motor and the ignition. My wife is gonna kill me when she sees the price tag.
I didn't realize you swapped spoilers. How hard was the swap? Did you use an aftermarket spoiler? Did it come with the older style third brake light? Also, do you have to use the the older style third brake light, or can the spoiler be mounted without it? Since the 1991s already have a light behind the hatch glass, I'd rather leave it off. But I wonder if it's needed for rigidity. I also wonder if the spoiler is notched for the brake light. If it is, should that notch be filled with bondo, or is the notch hidden?

Thank you, Dave!
Thanks, I love the color as well. Btw, I read you pm while at work and didn't have time to reply and completely forgot about it. Will reply when I can.
Bill, good to hear from you as well. Thank you. I need to follow your thread if you have one.
To get the spoiler on I had to switch decklids as well. Aside from the glass trim brackets that hold the sides of the spoiler in place and the position of the mounting holes on decklid, I don't think anything else is different or needed. I also thought about removing the 3rd brake light
