Winter Blues

Hi All -

It's been a long and cold winter here in south-central Wisconsin. Not a ton of snow this year, but still cold and dreary. Although it's late February we still likely have another 6 weeks of winter, thus my Maui Blue '88 Trans Am won't see it's shadow until early May.

I did take a few photos last fall just a few weeks before I put the Trans Am into hibernation. I look at these from time to time to help get through these long winter days knowing that Spring is getting closer day by day. Just thought I'd share a few of them.

Thanks for looking!

Same here. Thanks for sharing.

The days are getting longer...we'll be driving them again soon.

The Pontiac Oakland Club International (POCI) International Convention is coming to the Wisconsin Dells this year. Will you be there checking out the Pontiacs?

Re: Winter Blues

Beautiful car and pictures. I too feel your blues. Add to the fact I didn't get to drive mine much last year. Last drive was in late October.
That changes in a month. At the end of March I'm driving mine from Kansas City to Phoenix and back. I've wanted to take a road trip with mine since I bought it. I hope to take some photo's of my car at some beautiful locations along the way.
My car isn't as nice as yours (Its a driver) but still looks good. With the right lighting and backdrop, it might look almost new.

Thanks, Dave. The Dells is just 45 minutes from where I live (near Madison). Looks like the convention is during the week. Sounds like a great time.

Enjoy the road trip with your car! My car if far from perfect. I just turned 50,000 miles right before I put it away. I too hope to drive it more this summer.

Yes, the show runs Monday - Thursday.

At the very bottom of this page, there are .pdf files you can launch that include the show and activities schedules.

I did not know that Franny. If you're bored in late June, and haven't visited the Dells, come on out.

Great car and very cool pics - I lived in WI for several years - best thing I ever did was move from Wisconsin to Florida - we enjoy our cars all year round here!!

Absolutely.. it’s pretty nasty out.. yesterday was a tease.. I was tempted to take it on the road but it’s still too salty out there..

Great vanity plate. How many tries before you got the one you wanted.
