i like my 12 sec. winter car
plus it rides way nicer and handles better than my 3rd gen..leather interior..it's a great car! and driving my 91 everywhere isn't too fun..the girls don't like to ride in my loud *** 3rd gen race car(it sounds like a damn drag car inside) the 2000 SS is a nice smooth quite ride, great daily drive not to mention it whoops everyones *** out on the street at night.

the 91 has taken out it's share of LS1 cars..it should run low 13's...(emphasise on SHOULD,lol) i ran it w/ bald tires and it ran a 13.9 @105mph w/ a 2.5 60ft...i can get that 60ft down to a 2.0 easily w/ new nitto drag radials so it COULD run 13.4's possibly.
the SS is defenitly faster..but i just bought the SS 3 weeks ago and the 91 has been stored for a while now. my truck for winter just crapped out so i am stuck w/ the SS to drive in snow

That 60' is pretty bad.. The first time at the track I ran a 2.4 and improving to 2.2 netted me almost a half second in the quarter. Those first 60 feet are important. 105mph is probably good for 13.2s pretty easily with a good short time. My brothers car is automatic and he runs around 13.3 @ 104.5. I'm hoping to be about even with him next time we race... he's had this thing about challenging me to grudge matches in the past, and now I may actually win with my new engine.
Good thing these new cars are made mostly of plastic, so they can't rust as much

Where are people getting these 4th gen beaters? It seems like they take more abuse than the 3rd gens I've seen.
