would a aftermarket intake fit under...

the Ls1 style ram air hood? i guess it's called the "ram air II"....i was just wondering if maybe the performer RPM, or the RPM air gap would fit underneath without any problems. does anyone know??? thanks

I dont see why it wouldnt fit. I fit a weiand dual plane, and a carb spacer under a stock 82 Z28 hood with a 14x4 air cleaner without clearence problems.. it was close, but it fit

thanks man, but i know the RPM manifold is quite a bit taller than a stock manifold, and i know it doesn't fit under the stock hood...so my question i guess would be is the ram air II hood any higher than a stock TA hood <---forgot to mention it's a TA sorry. and overall which is a better manifold anyway the stealth or the RPM air GAP??? thanks if anyone can help...i really want the ram air hood but if i'll have clearance problems with it than i'll just go with a cowl...i just need to know. thanks a lot
