How do my new wheels look?

Here are my 17x9 WS6 wheels with the Kuhmo's 275/40/17's mounted and installed on my car.

I think it looks awesome on the car.

Thanks Swede,

The mods under the hood are;
TPI (car used to be an LG4 carbed motor)
SLP Dual Cold Air Intake
52mm Throttlebody
Crane Powermax 2050 Cam kit
Dynomax Headers
MSD 6A & Blaster 3 Coil
Smog and A/C Delete
Dual Radiator Fans

That's all that I can think of that I have done under the hood.

I do have Jamex Lowering Springs, Lakewood LowerControlArms and Adjustable Panhard Bar, Iroc Wonderbar, 97 T/A Center Console, 96 T/A Leather seats with power lumbar and bolster,
B&M Ripper Shifter.

That's about all I can recall at this time.

Nice looking wheels man! Do you have any shots that are farther out so that we can see the whole car?

I assume since the shots were taken in doors like that you don't, but I'd like to see how it looks as a whole if I could. I bet it looks really good.

Another quick question for you, I noticed wheels spacers. How much of a spacer did you use in back and in the front?

TIA!

Ted

Here is the widest shot I can get in my garage,

I've wanted to get these 17's for a long time, that is why I bought the spacers. I got the 16" Chrome 5 stars from my brother, he got a set of 17x9.5" OZ Monte Carlos for his 96 T/A.

All the mods done to the motor are all new and I haven't gotten the car running yet so I can't say anything about them, yet.
Last night was the first attempt at starting her up, and she didn't start.
Fuel pump wouldn't activate. Need to figure out what I did wrong.
Stereo works great though.

I can polish these so that they look almost chrome, which I will do eventually. My friend had a set on his 2000 WS6 and polished them, I thought they were chrome when I saw them.
I paid $225 for the wheels and $488 for the tires, not too bad I think.

Oh, and your car looks sweet, I like the color of it, looks like Sunset Orange.

$225 for the wheels! How do I make my smiley cry! lol Man that's cheap! Did you use Skulte(i think that's right) adapters? Thanks for the compliments it's actually the stock color, sometimes it's red and sometimes it's an orange color. I guess because of the metallic.

I bought the adaptors from VetteBrakes since Skulte was on vacation at the time I was needing them.

I have my Chrome 5 stars for sale if you want them, they have 2 nearly new tires and 2 good tires on them.

The spacers were $353 shipped, I bought 4 2-1/4" spacers.
I will be adding a 4th gen rear end as soon as my brother has new gears put into one of the 2 spares we have sitting around.
I will then take the rear off of his car and put it on mine, it has the stock 3.42 posi on it. He's getting 3.73's put in one of the other rears. He's already gone through 3 sets of gears, they keep breaking, don't know why.

Cool, you shouldn't need to run the spacers in the rear with those wheels then if you put the 4th Gen. rear end in the car.

Has your brother drag raced his car a lot? Those 10 bolts in the F-bodies aren't that strong for hard launches, espeically if he's running a lot of power adders and is launching hard on drag radials or more.

One thing a friend of mine ran into was he actually bent the 10 bolt housing and after that he couldn't keep a set of gears in the car. After a while he just went to a 12 bolt after many 10 bolt rebuilds. Long story as to what happened after that, but anways.

Nice car man, should be great once you get her fired up!

Ted

Ya, his 10bolt might be bent, need to find out. The pinion gear keeps breaking a tooth. 4 gears in 4 months in that same rear end.

Looks great man! Got any pics of those 5 stars? How much do you want for them?

P.S. What happened to the hood ornament? The aerodynamics alone were worth at least 3 tenths!

Sorry this is not related but what kind of intake is that on Zephers firebird? I meen the black plastic peice right behind the radiator. That looks like it would match my Idea for a dual ram air on my 87 GTA nicely. Finnaly, could I squeeze a MAF sensor between it and the TB? Thanks for the info.

I was looking to get around $500 for the chrome wheels with tires since the tires I have on the back are nearly new Toyo Proxes Z1 255/50/16's which I paid almost $350 for.
The front tires are pretty Decent, Yokohama AVS540 I think.

I am not 100% sure I am going to sell them yet, but if I get a good offer I just might. I am supposedly getting a pair of BFG DR's and some Eagle GSC's for $20.00 which are 16's, so if I get those then I am going to keep the wheels for a little bit longer.

the intake I have is the SLP Dual Cold Air intake.
It will be for sale later this year when I get my turbos for my car.
I am going to look at a pair of Turbos this weekend to see if they are big enough for my application.
