It's another special category month. This time we're seeking cars with under 20K original miles. You can SELF-NOMINATE your own car, or nominate someone else.

There is just no question that these cars are going to be in excellent condition, so we're not going to make this overly complex. Just a single "second nomination" by another member is all we're looking for to seal the deal.

I'd like to nominate MikeJR1991 and his awesome 1991 Z28, 1LE. It is 1 of 4 Black/Beechwood 5.7 1LE's built in 1991. And, it only has 173 actual miles on it! This car gets started frequently, and gets an occasional drive around the block to keep things operational.

I will second MikeJR1991 - awesome car and I saw that one at auction (Mecum?) before the current owner got it.

 

I'm torn between envy for these two cars and outright hatred for the owners. Because they have them and I don't.

Two great choices already.

Damn! My 88 just reached 20.200 miles a few weeks before! Too late for me.

But I would like to say, both cars until now are AWESOME!

 

I second my car for the nomination. I would love to nominate both as that Trans Am is absolutely beautiful as well but unfortunately I can only nominate one so I’m gonna have to go with mine. I believe it’s the lowest milage 1le on the planet? Thanks to “Dagwood” for the shout out & nomination.

I'm holding off on my nomination for now,...... Owner is having some technical difficulties obtaining quality pics of his 90 IROC-Z. I wanted to post now just to throw up a teaser pic; once he's got a hand-full of updated pictures I'll return with an "official" nomination.

 

You guys don't really need to post a bunch of pictures. We're going to do this all over again in the voting thread. Gotta leave something unknown or the honey moon won't be exciting.

Heck yes! That car is pretty under the radar. There are probably tons of people on this board that have never seen, nor heard of his car. I have seen it in person back in like 1993?? And I'd love to see some recent, high quality pics of it

This is the most recent pic of Leonard's car that I have seen in YEARS. I sure hope we can twist his arm enough to compete!

For those that don't know what his car is....it's the very last 3rd gen built. It has signatures EVERYWHERE by all the people at Van Nuys as it was coming down the assembly line. To my knowledge, it has 125 miles on it. It is an incredible piece of history.....and it has an amazing story!

Okay, I guess I'll self-nominate my 1987 Camaro with all the options I wanted (G92 5-speed with T-tops, IROC option package 3).
I bought it just over 5 years ago with 2991 miles on it -- now it has 6316 miles on it.

Ya, absolutely.

 

It seems this category has been waaaaay over due because 4 of 5 people so far have never ever been nominated for COTM. And we've never seen any of these cars either. That's just seems crazy, doesn't it?

And I'm sure there are more!

This is an easy one. Just pull those 2 trailers out and then roll the Camaro into that space and viola, all kinds of room to get pictures. My garage is literally the size of your side x side and 2 camaros next to each other with a 20' depth. That's it, that's all I got.lol Looking at these pics really drives that home for me.lol

 

LeonardS is going to enjoy watching this time. This thread is still young so plenty of time for another nomination.
