How to separate the black grid from the clear lense

My trans ams tail lights are delaminating, I'd like to know how to fix this and how to remove the black grid from the clear lense. i've seen pictures of them removed but i can't find an explanation on how to do it.

They don't come apart the way you're thinking without destroying them in the process. Most people tint them to hide the delamination.
