i have a black camaro and many of my friends have recommend gettin black outs for the tail lights.... i know i won't because its money better spent else where and it ruins in my opinion our cool stock tail lights... just my opinion though

I used to have them but got sick of paying around $40 per ticket so I took them off.

On a black car they look awesome. I got a pair and would never go without them anymore. As for the tickets...I got the slotted ones from GTS, trailblazer I believe. I haven't had a problem with them yet and, personally, I think they look better than the total blackouts anyway.

ive got the total avs blackouts on my black 89 IROC and i love them, my lights are still clearly visible at night, during the day the break is sometimes a little hard to see. I havent had any trouble with the cops yet. I had a pair of the GTS ones and they were stolen while i was at the diner. i hated the way my car looked without them. So i bough the AVS ones. They have a slight lip on the top and bottom that help wrap around the taillight better and keep them in place. I drilled a hole into the top of the cover and into my taillight casing and put a half inch screw threw both of them. (made sure to put a little silicone on the screw so water cant get into my lights) i figure this way if someones gonna try and stell them they are gonna have to break them off. by the way im still looking for the @$$hole that stop my old light covers
