Would like to clean the top half of the fuel injected 5.0 Litre engine in my 85 T/A. What is good to clean the ridges and the runners??

 

Here's a good video in general on how to safely clean your engine bay (safely as in not getting water or cleaners in places they shouldn't go, etc). This was one of those "suggested videos" from YouTube that popped up after I was watching some other car-related videos, but it actually turned out pretty useful; I just used a lot of the tips from the video cleaning the engine bay on my F-150 this past weekend. A good set of nylon brushes and some basic spray bottles with cleaner plus a little bit of time are all you really need.
