What type of metal are my rims? (And, what would be safe to use on them?)

Hello and thank you for taking a moment to read my post.

I tried looking around a bit on the forums but didn't have much luck in trying to identify -- or more accurately, being confident in -- the type of metal my rims are comprised of. I would like to make them a bit shinier, but certainly didn't want to mess them up. Could anyone help me identify these and perhaps let me know what you might use to clean them properly? For example, can I use something like Nevr-Dull or is that a big no-no?

(I know they are fairly shiny in the photo -- that was when I first purchased the car a few years ago!)

Thank you kindly,
J

Never-Dull is a metal polish. It will work great on your trim rings, but not on the wheel itself. You have steel wheels that are painted, so you will want to use a polish or wax that is safe for paint. A good cleaner-wax would work just fine

They're the same type of metal as the rest of the wheel, which is steel...
