Re: Finally got a lift!

Looks good! I got my first one a few weeks ago, and my second one is coming in two weeks. It will be nice to store 4 of them at home for once. These are much more affordable than I thought they were. Definitely save money on storage garages for me!

Re: Finally got a lift!

Why did you install it in your bedroom? Seems like getting the cars in there would be a hassle! That is way too clean to be called a garage!

Re: Finally got a lift!

Nice!! I'm hoping to add a 4-post to my tool chest in a year or so. Nice for pulling on for quick jobs like changing oil. lining up a 2 post just for that job is waaay too much work!! Also great for doubling the size of your garage.

How tall are your ceilings?

Nice! We have a bay of our new pole barn reserved for one of these in our future. Loving those third gens, too.

Re: Finally got a lift!

Hey Chazman - How tall are your ceilings? Wondering how tall ceilings need to be in order to comfortably stack cars? Looks like yours are perfect for 3rd Gens?

Re: Finally got a lift!

Ceilings are not quite 12'. If you remove the antennas, I think you can stack 2 3rd gens with around 10'.

I know a guy whos 2-post is under 9' 4" ceiling. He has to work sitting on a roller chair, which he say is a pain, but a whole world better than on the ground!!

For sure! That is my predicament now, but wondering if 2 cars would stack in that amount of height. We all need more 3rd Gens!

Re: Finally got a lift!

You didn't get the Advantage Lift? I thought that was on your list of purchases? You bought the knock off Wildfire!!! I hope you enjoy it. Very sturdy and if it's just like the Advantage, very well made.

I called to order the Advantage, but the price had skyrocketed to the point I had sticker shock.. Things have changed since Tony sold the company to Backyard Buddy. The Wildfire is 99% identical but was a few hundred dollars less and an addition few hundred less to ship.

Re: Finally got a lift!

I heard the prices went up. John Zofko bought a second lift and said the prices were much higher than when I got mine. Looks like it's gone up $1300 in 4.5 years. WOW. I knew they sold, but I didn't know they sold to Backyard Buddy. I wonder if they sold again.
