dupont says to wait 6 months, but you can wash it after a week.

Depends on the paint--I would wait 6 months for wax.

Everyone I've talked to said 30 days for wax. But I guess it depends on the paint. I had clearcoat put on mine as well, but I ended up waiting a couple months because it was winter anyways so the car was stored.

heres what you need to know about paint.
this is for base/clear paint

if its baked you can wash it 5 minutes later. because no matter what they say. they wash the car after they wetsand it and buff.

and wax you should wait 12 days if it is baked or 60 days if it is not.

i waited 54 days after my IROC was painted and then applied my paint sealant. NOT WAX, i hate wax. this stuff is the sh*t, almost as good as Zaino. but anyways. i waited that long.

and washing your car doesnt matter if its been clear coated. so dont get all fussy about it. what would you rather have a clean car or a lot of dirt sitting on the paint eating into it?
