We are super excited to launch a new way to enjoy the ThirdGen community from your mobile devices!

It's still a very early beta but beginning today if you're logged in and visiting the Community from your mobile device, you can now choose a dark mode theme in addition to the standard 'bright' theme we've always had 😎

We are looking to you for feedback about the experience. Being Beta, we don't expect to have gotten it perfect so we appreciate any feedback you're able to provide.

We also recognize that some of you would like to see a dark mode on desktop, we do too! Our first goal is to perfect this mobile experience and our hope is to release dark mode for all browsers once the summer is over. Thank you all in advance for your understanding.

Please log in from your mobile, turn the dark mode on using the Hamburger menu and let us know your feedback with us!

Are there plans to make dark mode available in the picture gallery screen as well?

 

Yes, there are plans for it to be available outside of the forums section.

 

I love it! Dark mode is much easier on my eyes with astigmatism. Thank you!

This is a great option to add, I prefer the palette choices that the Dark Reader addon chooses to swap the light theme for, when compared to the current dark theme palette.
