Alcohol wipe stains on plastic

Hello so i made the mistake of using alcohol wipes to remove adhesive promotor around my emblem and it left a white stain.
Anyone have a suggestion to remove the white stain and also a better way to remove the surrounding adhesive promotor as well ? here is a before and after image

you can see thw shiny adhesive promotor residue here

here you can see my attempt at removing it and the white stain it left

You can try this plastic restorer or a similar product that brings the white looking faded plastics back.
