83firebirdS/E,

Is that car yours!? Man how is that thing in that good of shape. It is a very beautiful car. Love the mirror shine in the paint and original wheels. I wish that my car could have that deep of a shine in the paint. Oh well, not going to happen as a daily driver!

Awsome car.

Originally was LG4/700R4
Now SBC400/700R4
Still has original 3.23 posi rear

These pictures suck, they are from when I first got the car running. I now have 85-92 15X7 bird wheels, 85-90 T/A tail lights, parking lights blacked out, and best of all, center caps!

Not bad, considering it was painted in my driveway...

This is how bad it used to leak oil... And I took off the retarded autozone exhaust tips.

This is my busted a$$ interior. Now I haev a 85-92 bird shifter, and the center console has the sides covered in black carpet. I also removed the fizzy dice for weight reduction.

I still have the same subs, but a much bigger jensen 600 watt amp. I still cant find any brown carpet to cover the box in, though.. Thats what the hatch pull down cover is for, though... :P

Yes I just recently purchased it. I plan on keeping it as nice as I can, and only drive it on nice days. But I still have my 268,000mile firebird as a daily driver.

Frank 84 Bird. Hello, I dunno if you remember me, I met you at the East Coast F-body Nats. I had the blue and silver 84 T/A, same wheels, seats, taillights as you
Your car is just as nice in person as it is in those pics!.

I have a few pics but dunno how to post em... trying to post em...

Keep the pics coming, I love to see such nice 82-84 Birds.

Here are a few. NONE are mine, the only pics I have of mine are crappy quality and before its restoration, so until I can beg, borrow or steal a digital camera these will have to do.

OKAY, 1 crappy shot of mine

AND I had to throw in this very special 1984...

Nightcruzer, great pics! (right click save, right click save...)

I find the red and black "83" intresting. Ive seen it for sale and the add says its all original (so why does it have the gfx?!) Its a sweet car no matter what the story is.
I think I saved every pic you posted, lol.

TAdan,
I have to agree that the red 83 is interesting. It can only be few things, none "all" original. 1) An original Daytona repainted red 2)an 84 or 3) any 82-84 with the 84 aero gfx. Personally I like the grey/silver ones.

Hey TAdan How's it going? I thought that was cool that we had the same wheels seats, and lights. How's your car running? Pretty soon I'm gonna be putting on some 91-92 T/A taillights. I just have to find the drivers side light.

If you want to email me your pics I could post them for you.

Hey Frank, well the LG4 is still kicking and the car is doing fine

Thanks for offering to post them, Ill send you an e-mail. I only have two semi-decent pics of my car, and I sent one pic of a friends old 84 which he bought new in 84.

I think the 91-92 Lights will look good on your car (they will work well w/ the spoiler).

Does anyone have any pics of an 82-84 trans am that is dark metallic blue with silver on the bottom? Just wondering what it would look like, cause that's what I want to paint my car.

Thanks! The wheels came with the car... I have factory wheels that'll go on it after I paint 'em white - gonna try to keep the exterior mostly original.

That exact thing happened to me as well with my '83 S/E. I and I saw the little sob's do it. They were walking along the train tracks and picked up some rocks and threw them at my back window and it all smashed out. First I was like and then I was like , then i was like and after that I was .
I tried to get them but they were to far gone...

I know how you feel MattW. Im very impressed with the replies to this thread. I noticed on your car you have fog lights mounted behind your front grills. Did you do that on your own or did you find my site? http://www.geocities.com/billsfirebird/Lamps.html
Just curious! I realy like the looks of them behind the grills instead of bolted on to the front somewhere. It makes it look stock behind the grills.

Later!
