215,000 miles on the TBI 305 before I swapped in a 350.Still ran really good, just wanted more power.
I bought the car new in 92 with 11.2 miles on it.
305 still in such good shape, I think replace the rings and bearings and put it in my 91 S10 Blazer.
I think the Synthetic oil helped.

I have just past 224,000 miles on my all original 305 LG-4, 1986 IROC.
Engine now getting a little puffy on the start up, but still running damn strong and beating anything in my class without mods.
And if I catch you on the freeway, .... don't worry I'l wave as I go by :nono:

Just a heapin' over 175,000 on the '86 T/A. Still runs great on the LG4 build.
Will be driving coast-to-coast in August. I hope the A/C holds out.

I have a 1991 Firebird Formula, auto with 350 TPI engine and and no work on her yet! She has 130,460 and only had the a/c compressor and starter changed. Everything else stock! Andy:lala:
My 305 iroc has 194,000 miles on it and is my daily driver and I have a pretty heavy foot. I hope this bad boy can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. Had i known i was going to buy the car from my best friends girlfriend I probably wouldn't have been so quick to tell him to race and do donuts and burnouts and things like that. He put a good beating on the car.

Just turned 226000 on my 90 RS original engine and tranny still runs great. If anyone ever had a doubt that chevrolet knows how to build cars, just tell them to stop by here and have a look. I couldn't even get 150000 outta a jap rocket without throwing both engine and tranny on the same run. I wouldn't take anything for my 90 model,.......except maybe my 92 Z28
Over 185,000 miles and sitting in the driveway dead! Check the "Something Wrong????" post near the top of the Tech section under TPI!! She still beautiful though!!
