So my friend works at a car wash and does autobody work on vehicles at this car wash. He has a little set up on the side. Well its a full service carwash so there is **** all in the air from all the armoral and wax they put on cars and a fan blowing it directly to us. So he painted a rear fender today and it fish eyed extremly bad. He has sanded it back down ,used fish eye illuminator, wax and grease remover, he painted it for a 2nd time and still the same prob... i say he should move his trailer but its the only place they can put him... is there anything else he can do besides using rubbing alcohol tomorrow when he has to paint it again..is there anything he can buy to spray in the air to kill all the oils and stuff being blown our way..???

 

With all due respect, what's this got to do with thirdgen Fbodies? You are probably better off asking on a body shop forum.

 

I would give this stuff a shot, wear gloves and use clean cloth towels every time you wipe down
