Ok, well, as far as the coast is concerned it is anyways. My house is about ehh.. 35 feet above sea level and about a mile away from the ocean and Im getting snow right now.. its just not sticking much. If you grab a Atlas and look in Oregon, look for Langlois.. thats me, notice how close the "city" is to the ocean? heh heh
Anywho, I woke up this morning, stumbled out the the kitchen and looked out the window, all the mountains across from me had snow and my car was covered too. After I took my car up and got some pics, I hopped in my "beater" truck and went way up the mountain. I picked out a couple pics and shrunk em down, there are about 40 pics.... once I get done with the stuff I have to do for work Ill make a crude thumbnailed style page and put up the link.
Also, expect a movie here tonight too.
Pics!

I'll have the fullsize pics up tonight.. maybe.. my connection blows, and uploading 300kb + sized pics takes time...

Cool shots but treacherous looking roads to travel in snow. One wrong turn or slip and it looks like they wouldn't find you till spring.

But a couple years spent in Wyoming during the winter and some common sense helps keep ya on the road. After I took the last pics of my car on the mountain I was creeping along slowly just enjoying the scenery when this idiot in a Sebring decides he wants to pass me! I let him pass and slowly got on the brakes figuring he was about to eat it... he didnt but he did manage to fishtail when he hit the brakes coming up to a corner.....
There of course have been numerous wrecks this weekend because like no one on the coast even has a clue how to drive in snow.... everyone is used to rain here.
-Roshambo
My T/A doesn't move 5 feet when it snows....not by choice either I put the car in "D" or "R" take my foot off the brake and the rear wheels just keep spinning and the car goes nowhere I don't even dig it out till spring...I really have to clean out the garage noe that it is getting painted....

Hopefully that snow isn't headed here, but we might get some soon. Yesterday was beautiful. Not many 60+ degree days in January in the burbs of Chicago. I had the t's off all day.

Those pic. are amazing Roshambo. We dont get much of that here in Dallas Texas. The closest we get is some Hick running around throwing flour in the air saying "look maw! its snowin! uh he haw he haw" Saved those pics to the old hard drive, real nice. It snowed here in all parts except where I am so I have nothing to worry about. Its real nice right now 70 degrees, need proof http://www.weather.com/weather/local/75007>I recon yawl get ya some of those owl chains on them there tires
I dont realy talk like that, well sometimes here at tech support cause it cracks me up. Member

First time to have snow in 7 years in Ga. My car was ready for it! This lasted only a few hours before it all melted. But to people of GA. This was a rare site.

My car gets stored in the winter. I had to pull it out 1 day because we got a wall cut down in my house. And the biggest snow storm decides to hit that day and drop 7ft of snow

Crazy Stuff eh?!?!?!
Last winter we had an unbelievable record amount of snow! Total snowfall was like 690 cm over the course of the winter. For the metric challenged
that's 268 inches or 22 feet!!!! WTF!!! WTF!!! is right!!! AHHAHAHAHHA... It beat all known recorded records for Newfoundland!!! So much wa the snow that it spurred that website.
It was nuts... every damn day I would go out and shovel the driveway...EVERY DAY!!! BLAH!!! Almost every weekend in February there was a snow storm.....
So far this winter it has been normal...we have a good bit of snow but nothing like last winter!!
That picture you posted in pretty f&cked up ain't it!! hehe... that was taken on one of the main streets in the captail I think

Yea mines garaged too. I just had to pull it out in the driveway for a day so the dudes could get into my Attic. I got a winter car also
Metalli, thats me trying to get into the car-lol I started the car, pulled it out to the driveway, which the snow melted on the car because it was warm, then I was stupid enough to put the cover on. So later on when I went to pull it in, my cover was frozen to my car

Hey TFM4th no i havent, but this summer when i come home from skool im gonna be lookin for a job. U think you could hook a fellow camaro owner up?..i need money to pay for my baby while im away plus mod it. Lookin for a decent pay job.
You've got some great scenery to play with up there Roshambo. It's nice down here, too, but there's not enough green. Florida forests are ugly.
Here's a pic I took, the one and only time I have ever had my car in snow. New Year's day 2001 in Clinton, MS.

,and then there was that horrible wind that we had thursday night.i hear ya about that tfm4th.thought we were going to have another ice storm, but it all melted fortunately.

Dude!! It just snowed in Dallas! Not the kind of snow that your use to out there with old man winter. Its the kind where you can see it in the air mixed in with some rain. As soon as it hits the ground it melts and you can see it but thats what snow in Texas looks like.
Man the traffic was back up for two miles from My apartment all the way to the toll way. Some one got into a wreck, Im telling you us Texans cant drive in what we call snow.
