I happen to have my camera with me. Now if they all showed up I would have seen three more. The white Bird & Black Bird didnt show up and there is a red Camaro that I think was sold the use to be parked in my apartements.

WOW!!!! you see one trans am on your way home! holy geeze.. hahah.. im guessing the other pics didnt show up.

im my town thare are about 3 birds like mine (recently one exactly like mine!! kid copied me!!!!!!ARGH) and one kick @$$ 3rd gen blu trans am owned by some old guy... then there is a kid w/ a black 4th gen t/a, we cruise round town all the time.. never even met the kid once and he followes me round or sometimes ill follow him, its fun... man i keep forgeting .. the person that painted my car his mother has a blue third gen trans am.. pretty crappylooking. and across the street from them a guy has a black formula, but i never see him driving it. and anther town i go to ofter has a light blue firebird Rusted all to hell.. dosent even have a door handle.

when i go to work i pass a baby blue formula everyday

oh yea.. i forgot camaros... my friend has a camaro hes working on after he crashed his first 2, and there is a yellow camaro w/ racing stripes on it.. plus there is a red one down the street from me w/ black outs on it next to a silver corvette, i should go take a pic of it it looks cool..

this is all in the summer though... most of the 3rd gen cars have been put away for the winter. and these arent all in one town.. i hang out in 3 diffrent towns.

With winter in Ohio, few..except the real road beaters where the car looks like it went through a war. Not even photo worthy.

As for webshots, they no longer allow hot links anymore. The free photo servers are getting rarer...

 

Yeah here in Dallas Texas there is only snow every two years so I guess people can buy any car they wish year round and dont have to worry about road conditions.

I usually don't see any on my way home, but there are a few around here. Theres a white 91/92 Z28, a friend of mine has a white 91 Firebird, another friend has a black 83 Z28, and a kid at school has a teal 92 Z28, and theres also a black 89 RS at school. I'm the only IROC in my area though

 

There are 2 other third gens parked right outside my apartment building here at school. One is an white 88-89 IROC and the other is a black 89 RS, mine is still the best. Also, a few buildings down i saw an old belinetta. So thats 3.

There is also a :hail: silver 2000 Firebird WS6

 

Does anyone know how many third gens were actually manufactured? When I go to the junkyard there are more third gen Camaros Firebirds and Trans Ams then anything else. Like we don't already know but these are damn popular cars.

 

Hmmm interesting post. Now that I actually think about it, I do see a lot of third gens around here. Theres a black GTA 2 houses up thats pretty sweet. Has some loud a$$ pipes and a ram air hood. Bout 5 minutes away theres a somewhat beater 85 or so z that i see every morning. Theres my buddies 88 iroc that has around 40,000 actual miles. If i could drive to school i'd see a couple RS's there. Guess I have the only Formula though

It seems down here in Austin I see about maybe 1 third gen a day. If I am lucky, a clean one about once every 2 or 3 weeks!!!

There are not many here but most are beat to hell!!!

I have seen a clean 92 teal z28 with chrome rims every once in awhile. Other than that, not much too take a second look!!!

Dowon here, alot of mustangs (new and old) and mix of everything else!!!

MY friend has a silver 86 TA, there is a lady where I work that has a blue IROC that I tried to buy off of her but she would not sell.
there is another guy that has a 84 Z, real nice looking. and there is a Black 87 Z a few houses down from mine. Don't really see a alot of good condition ones around here. there was a black RS that pulled next to me one day last week. It looked nice, wheels, exaust, good paint. other than that mostly beaters.

With all these Third gens you know Pontiac And Chevy has some previous awards for having the top selling cars. Any of you have a article on this at all? I had one close to it that made Ford look real bad. They said Chevy outsold them for all but 2 or 3 years out of 50 something.
