Unbolt it and bolt on a new one. Simple. Wrecking yard is probably best, but they are available new from GM, and also aftermarket. You could have a body shop get you one and paint it for you.

Sorry I dont have any info for you on how to change the nose. I just wanted to add that I too would like a new nose for my iroc, mine got all chipped up by my engine hoist during my motor swap and I want to put a new one on. Please let us know if anyone knows of a good place to get them.
thanks

I just put a new nose on my dad's 85 Bird. Piece of cake. Got it from a junk yard and I think paid like $25 for it. Theres 4 bolts on the pan that you see when you pop the hood, 4 on nuts each side that bolt to the studs from the quarter panels, and you have the option to take the Main part of the bumper or just the rubber covering ... the whole assembly is just 8 more bolts. The hardest part of the whole thing is working around the headlights. My advice ... go from underneath and take out all of your underskirt. Or do like i did in the junk yard and rip out the head light assemblies.

Hope it helps .....
