firebird turn sig. covers

anyone used these? (turn signal covers). I wish I could make the lights so they would only come on when you were actually using the turn signal. Any ideas or comments? thanks.

snip the wire that tells it the parking lights are on..
shouldn't affect the turning signal..
if it was me.. i'd rather have lights on the side of my car so ppl can see it in that direction when it's dark..
also if i ever have to go on the side of the road.. i can put those on and ppl will see me and not hit me.
u'r car tho.

if I used smoked covers, will others be able to see them flashing well enough?

Realistically, yes. Legally, it depends what your law tells ya.

Remove your lenses and shoot em with nightshades. This way you can control how dark the tint gets.

I got some pics, I actually just called up about these to GT styling and they told me since they were bought out they discontinued this item. SO unless you can find them anywhere else give me a email too.

I heard JCWhitney had those turn signal covers, but I'm still waitng for my catalogue to confirm that. I love those covers, and I'd really be mad if you can't get em anymore! Anyone know where we can get em?

Well I was actually talking to GT Styling on the phone and looking at there site at the same time. The CSR guy told me that the numbers online are wrong cause they discontinued the item. Although he did say they may have the light covers for 82-84 Firebirds and I was like well won't those lights be the same cause its the same style I think. I then lost my power and lost my connection to him. But I really dont think there selling them anymore. If you can find any be sure to email me or something.
