86street, I hope that's what he meant. I think it looks really good. I have a 4" on my camaro from Glasstek and am very happy with it. It's also a camaro, but if you want to see it the link is in the sig.

Anyone else have pics of cowl hoods on firebirds, and don't forget to list the brand? I'm dying to see a small cowl, like this.... only in a bigger pic.

A while back I was surfing for Ram Air hoods and found these guys. They have the Cowl hood for both Camaros and Firebirds.

www.usbody.com

http://www.usbody.com/WhereQualityComesFirst.htm

Good luck! Hope this helps.

I almost got the ram air hood from them, for my 87 firebird. It is set a bit too far up the hood for my tastes. I went with SunCoast's ram air hood. It came down lower. I think it made the hood look more like it was made to match the existing lines on the car. I should have some pics up in the next month. The hood is due to be painted soon.

I like the 2" USBODY indy cowl hood. it seems to follow the lines of the car, it also looks kinda like a C4 hood IMHO.
