Guys i am painting my car (1991 camaro RS) this spring and i am torn between two colors. Do i waqnt to be flashy and paint the car bright yellow (like the new corvets) with blue racing stripes. Or do i want to be a little more subtle and paint it dark navy blue metalic with silver racing stripes?

let me know what you think

PS i would be welcome to any other colors if you have something that you think looks good that i have not thought about

 

go with the dark navy blue. It will look real nice and will have a nice shine to it. thats if the paint job is done right.

 

i'd go for the yellow, put not with blue stripes

maybe two nice black heritage stripes instead?

 

I'd paint it yellow, but be prepared to be stopped for everything. Cops don't like show-offs in nice cars anymore then the rest of us (My friend has a 00 Yellow Stang Convertible, and he got a speeding ticket for going 4 mph over, something that would never happen in my Mom's Camry). I'd still paint it yellow, because what's the point of having a fast car if nobody notices it?

 

Yellow with blue stripes, very interesting. Don't know if it would really look good or not, but if you like it , do it. You'll definately have an original car!

 

I would definately go with blue with silver stripes. When I get my hands on a thirdgen, I would like to paint it dark metallica blue with silver ground effects. I know someone that had purple with silver ground effects, and it looks really nice. here is a pic of a camaro from around here where I like that is purple with silver.

 

DUDE, you have to go with the yellow (PPG crome yellow) with tinted windows(as deep as you can get away with).

thats what I'm painting mine in the fall. It will be AWESOME
