just throwing an idea out there
I am getting a 94 legend 2 door coupe with a 6 speed this summer which will become my daily driver. I am thinking about yanking my engine, pulling out the wiring, repainting the whole car(engine bay, door jambs, etc) hugger orange with black racing stripes that start at the front ground effect and stop at the winsheild, then start up on the trunklid and go all the way down the back bumper. also, replace the hood with a 3 inch cowl. if i do this it will prolly be about a year long project because i dont have alot of time, plus i want the car to not have one imperfection. what do you guys think?

I think your current car is in pretty damn good condition. I would either, sell your car, and use the money to fund the new project with a car that needs a little TLC, or just do the engine work
I like your car the way it is, but if that is what YOU want, then do it. Orange is cool, but I'm not real crazy about the stripe idea. How much are you planning on spending in order not to have even one flaw (30K?? 50K??)? It gets very expensive very quickly, I know, and mine has flaws.

Only thing I might change would be the hood. The paint job looks perfect as it is, why waste the money. YOu got one beautiful car. I say get rid of the wheels, and sell them to me

i agree w/ everyone else, your car is cool as hell, i love the color especially nice deep red.. i wish i knew what color that was when i was painting my car
if you are changing anything, i say go w/ the engine and the hood,

I have to agree with everyone else. Your car looks kicka$$ now. I would just change the hood to a 4" cowl induction. I was thinking of painting my '91 Camaro, Hugger Orange with '76 Vette yellow stripes. Something that screams for attention.

Im gonna paint my 92 RS Hugger Orange someday after I get a new moter and suspension set under her. Don't put black stripes on Hugger Orange, they have to be white. Heritage or normal white stripes look real real nice on Hugger Orange.
Just my opinion though, do what ever looks best in your eyes, thats why its your car.

i'm actually in the process of getting my camaro painted Hugger Orange with black gfx and possibly heritage stripes. I don't like the look of the stripes that go down over the bumper covers, think it looks cheap and unclean,

ummm...my body guy said that it is the stock red that came on them. it has a ton of clear on it, that might make it look a little deeper or something. i dont know
the name of the hood is "daytona turbo"
what do you guys think it will look like if i put some blisters in the hood as opposed to the louvres?

I think it would look like you've added a second layer to the hood, since it already has one step up with the cowl section, and the blisters would be a second step up. The louvers sit down in smooth. I like your hood just the way it is, it looks real nice on your car. Sounds like you are really itchin' to use out some new ideas. Why not just add another thirdgen to your collection, and mod it?
