I was just wondering if we could see some updated pictures of your 85 Iroc. I looked at your page and see the same old pictures. By the way great job fixing the Iroc up. Looks real good. I like your Iroc alot and would just like to see some new pictures. Thanks

The interior still needs back seats, carpet, nicer plastic, new switches, buttons, etc, a steering wheel, headliner, sail panels, door panels and basically everything else.
The T5 swap is an abortion. Something's still vibrating, so chances are, the T5 is coming back out and getting replaced.
Here's an engine pic, although these valve covers aren't actually on the motor yet. I'm going to paint them body color first.

I also got a new upper radiator hose, and I'm getting new overflow & washer tanks. This shot is real bad because I had the hood off while the table saw in the garage got used, so there's wood dust everywhere.
I've also gotta do something about those nasty headers, but I'm doing SLP runners, accel baseplate, and a 165 ECM swap first.
Oh yeah, and my SS take-off posi diff came in today
Wow, I never knew u had 4th Gen seats... Im dying to do a 4th Gen interior swap... I have the money and everything, but I cant find a decent parts car? I want the dash, console, seats, and door panels... I think its one of the best and noticable upgrades for a 3rd gen.... I luv the way it looks.... Those seats u have are sweet! Man yer headers look exactly like mine... I have to do something with mine also... I read an article a few days ago about a product called Conquest... Supposively stops rust and makes em look spiffy... Gunna try and find some of that....

I didn't do a T56 swap because I couldn't afford it at the time. Little did I know I'd wind up pissing over a grand into the T5 swap. I also want to keep my mechanical speedo, which wouldn't work with the T56.
My big-picture plan is to do the T5 swap, then buy an aftermarket T56 that works with the T5 hardware. That prevents me from further continuining down the path of used transmission purchases (My first 4 haven't gone so well), and it gets me the best of both worlds. I get the strength of the T56, without the piece of crap clutch setup, plus I get to keep my shifter in the right spot and I get to have my mechanical speedo.

If a new trans, posi, new ECM & wiring harness, ACCEL super ram intake, SLP runners and custom PROM burning doesn't finally get this thing to run right I'm going to start smashing stuff.
