I'm wondering, but does that look like a Z06 to anyone else. I dont see the rear brake vents, chrome wheels?, and that color.
Not trying start anything, but can someone verify, or maybe some more revealing photos would help.

Maybe there was some confusion, that's what she told me he got. I also thought the Z06s had Z06 emblems, I didn't see any.

Yeah OK, still a bad *** car, all he needs to do now is send it of to Lingenfelter, TTLS1, then blow the doors off a Z06.

it still doesn't look like a Z06. It doesn't have the screens on the front, it looks like it has T tops, it looks like it doesn't have z06 rims. Need a side shot.

Don't all Vettes have the LS-6 now? I could be wrong, I don't worship them like a lot of others do. No, I don't mean people here either!!

Yeah, it's a C5, not a Z06--Z06s have specific wheels and brake vents, and they're not available with the targa top.

Still a badass car!

That's the thing, he wanted a convertible, but wanted the Z06, it's a hard top. And it has some pretty huge disc brakes, not sure if that is for all vettes.

Yea, doesn't look like a Z06, but none the less I'd take it anyday over almost any car. Even a regular C5. Those are some of the best looking cars on the road today in my opinion.

whats funny is that everyone is saying it's JUST a C5 LS1. Z06 or not, id love to have it, especially if it's a six speed (as if it matters)

Yep, it's a 6spd. Another thing, I was just reading in C&D that the Z06 had larger front brakes, and when I was looking at the car yesterday I noticed the front discs were larger than the back. Also the front discs, not sure of the back started to get some rust on them.

"JUST A C5?" HAAHAA.....it probably wasnt meant as a downgrading thing, or at least I hope not. The C5 is a remarkable vehicle in almost, if not all, aspects. As an owner of one, I can say that the LS1 is a very smooth and powerful engine...it pulls in every gear, and at every RPM, it feels like it just wants go faster yet. It is no Z06-but then again, the Z06 uses the same block, if I remember correctly. Just different heads, cam, intake, etc.(dont quote me, I dont have a Z06). But still, the LS1 is an awesome performer...and the C5 is an awesome machine...its alot of fun taking that thing on the road...I can never keep the speed limit Sorry everyone...since I have one, I HAD to say something

Awesome cars. Z06 has emblems, rear brake vents w/ mesh, hard tops only, LS6, and different wheels than regular C5. Did I leave anything out? Regular C5 still kicks ***. I would buy one if they weren't so damn expensive.

Its too bad I dont have my webpage finished..I have a couple pics of my Trans Am and my C5 next to each other...you could really tell the difference between the two cars...the C5 is definetly wider, and lower than the TA....I still love both of them though....
